The Procurement & Sales Division serves as a trading company within HANEWFOODS GROUP, procuring livestock products from producers in Japan and around the globe.

Our division consists of two companies: HANEWFOODS, which negotiates trade deals with international exporters and purchases their products; TMC, which is responsible for the procedural aspects of HANEWFOODS GROUP's trade in livestock products. HANEWFOODS purchases not only beef, pork and chicken, but also a wide range of meat such as lamb and horse meat from the US, Oceania and EU countries. TMC is not only in charge of import trade procedures for those meats HANEWFOODS purchased, but also for live cattle and horses, bee products such as honey and royal jelly, and export trade procedures for domestic cattle.

Meeting the highest standards for safety and quality

The Domestic Production Division specializes in the handling of domestic beef. Our activities completely cover all the aspects of the business, ranging from cattle raising and cargo collection to product processing and sales. We are responsible for the sale of 33,200 cows and 10,500 tons of meat per year.

Being involved in the entire production process from the cattle farm to end products, our knowledge of the food production cycle is our greatest strength.

Whether its fattening high-quality breeds of cattle, processing meat into a finished product, or performing sales, all our specialized departments look at the individual qualities of each animal to make products that we cherish and carry out our business.

In handling domestic beef, good communication with the breeders is key. No product would reach the market without it. HANEWFOODS GROUP's Domestic Production Division has been a mediator between breeders and distributors for quite some time. We continue to support the development of the industry with the next step of the production process in mind.

What sets us apart is our wide range of operations, which includes cattle raising, production, processing, sales, and administration. Collaborating with all members in these operations to perform tasks, our division is a rewarding workplace for employees.

Processing Division

Creating the right product for our customers

The Processing Division currently operates 8 meat-processing facilities throughout Japan. Every year, we process 30,500 tons of meat. Our operations include the production of frozen meat products and premium ham and sausages. Among our customers are large retailers, restaurant chains, and department stores.

Our divisions plays an important role in connecting production sites to retailers. We use both foreign and domestic ingredients to create products for large retailers, fast food chains, and restaurant chains, and we even provide suggestions for their menus.

At each processing center, we have a curriculum to educate employees on the basics of food processing, bacteriology, hygiene, and regulations related to food. In order to meet our customers' expectations, we examine standards for each process and take other measures to always ensure reliable products with high quality. This reliable quality control enables us to gain an edge on our competition.

Our employees are well aware of the responsibilities and duties they must perform. They are action-oriented individuals who respond flexibly to any issues that may arise, thriving in a workplace that promotes the mutual development of knowledge.

From Hokkaido in the north to Kyushu in the south, the Sales Division has 27 offices to meet our customers' needs, with an annual sales weight of 128,500 metric tons.

Our finely-tuned services are geared toward the needs of local regions, and we aim to collaborate with our customers to add value at each transaction. To us, customer satisfaction and customer inspiration are top priorities.

As the times change, the needs of our customers are becoming ever more diverse. To respond to these needs, we work together with our Domestic Production Division, Processing Division, Overseas Division, and other divisions as we develop and introduce new products, and actively engage in sales promotion.

Our Product Sales Division consists of four companies. NIPPON MEAT SALES offers proposal-based sales of meat ingredients to customers of restaurants and chu-shoku companies by utilizing the procurement capabilities and processing functions of the Group. TOKACHI IKEDA SHOKUHIN manufactures and sells processed products such as ham, sausages, and roast beef, centering on the "Fukutaro Yamamoto" brand, which is made by adhering to its own manufacturing method. TMC HONEY purchases and sells bee products such as honey and royal jelly from China, Canada, Argentina, Oceania, EU countries, etc.KAWATOMI FOODS processes and sells meat products according to the detailed requests of customers, mainly hotels and restaurants.

HANEWFOODS GROUP has established several group companies in the United States and Australia to ensure a stable supply of high-quality meats. The Overseas Division works to maintain good relationships with local meat packers, and has developed structural systems for the smooth export of meat to Japan and South Korea. We are involved in every step of the production process, ensuring that goods are delivered when needed and that all products consistently meet food safety standards.

We also service the American market by producing and selling both raw meat and processed meat products for restaurants. Our division has also established subsidiaries in the fast-growing Chinese and South Korean markets, to expand our future business in those regions.

The Administration Division aims to centralize all administrative operations of the HANEWFOODS GROUP to achieve optimal productivity. Our administration-supporting activities involve accounting, HR, general affairs, reviews, audits, and other overall company administrative operations. We individually provide the operating structure through which our companies can maximize their specialization and productivity.。

Supporting the HANEWFOODS GROUP from a financial perspective in order to maintain “dedicated to cash flow management”,

the Finance Division conducts operations related to financial activities and fund management, such as raising funds, negotiating with financial institutions, formulating financial strategies, import settlement operations, and accounting operations.

We also plays an important role in achieving objectives of ensuring the reliability of financial report and preserving funds.
