In 2025, Tokachi Ikeda Meat Packer Co., Ltd., a member of the HANEWFOODS Group, concluded an "Agreement on the Supply of Drinking Water and Electricity via Charging Facilities during Disasters" with Ikeda Town, Hokkaido, where the company is located.

Based on this agreement, we have installed solar power generation and storage battery systems. In the event of a power outage caused by a disaster, these systems will be utilized to support Ikeda Town. Our framework ensures a stable supply of drinking water by using stored energy to power well-water pumps and purification systems. Furthermore, we are prepared to provide electricity to local residents by making power outlets available for electric vehicles (EVs), mobile phones, and other essential devices during emergencies.
